Our stylish meeting room is private, inspiring, and can comfortably seat 60 people. Equipped with a presentation system, a whiteboard, and free high-speed wifi, this is the perfect place to take your team to brainstorm or your clients to close a deal. 

 

For groups bigger than 10 persons we serve a set menu. The menu will a set menu for the whole group. We will serve an alternative menu for possible vegetarians and guests with other dietary restrictions. Please provide us with these dietary restrictions at least one week prior to the event so that the kitchen can prepare properly.

 

Further we would also like to agree upon what we can serve regarding the wines beforehand. This can be a wine pairing or 1 white wine and 1 red wine for the whole diner. If we have a budget per bottle, the sommelier can recommend some wines for the dinner or lunch.

Our space is available with or without staff, and with or without food and beverages. We serve organic, fair, own roasted Colombian Coffee, homemade pie, fresh organic drinks, and lunch.

 

The ambiance is also perfect for dinners, receptions, private (kid) party's,  'living room concerts' and small performances.

You can play games on our Nintendo, and play vinyl on our old record player :)

 

During opening hours groups can reserve a table for Coffee tasting, High tea, and Lunch. After 6 pm our living is available for private activities and events.

The Gibraltar is a meeting place for children and their parents, volunteers and local residents. A place to escape the hectic pace of the city. With love and attention we make this place cozy and dynamic. The entrance, the subordinate catering, the terrace, and the halls are given a facelift so that everyone feels welcome. We ensure the smallest possible ecological footprint by purchasing and consuming very consciously.

 

We sell tasty coffee, tea and lemonade … From 10:00 the coffee is ready. We serve healthy snacks and a vegetarian lunch. The doors adjacent to the playground are open to you!

 

The spacious room of Gibraltar offers seating for 48 people. The room has a modest audio system and a sliding wall to the adjacent lounge.
After 17:00 the sliding doors can be opened to the lounge.

 

Rental possibilities 7 days a week!

 

The opening times of the playground will be adjusted seasonally. In addition to this website, there is a current facebook page that indicates the opening hours, activities and any changes daily. We work with neighborhood newspapers and neighborhood information signs.

This studio is an intimate two story multifunctional contemporary space situated on the Hembrug terrein.
Het Hembrug terrein was formally the Amsterdam munitions factory and arsenal dating back to 1897. It's location is on the outskirts of the old city of Amsterdam but within the Stelling van Amsterdam - the cities outer ring of fortifications. This location allows easy access from the city but also by car from the A10.

The studio building was formally known as the Carbidgebouw (Carbide Building), constructed in 1938. Although the studio has been carefully renovated, it retains a raw, industrial feel and is by and large kept in its original state. The floor space is 125 m2 divided over 2 floors. Ideal for photo shoots, meetings, presentations, events, vernissages etc...

The space is available as space only or you can work with our creative team to maximise the use of the location.
