Who am I? I am Maartje Hensen, queer photographer and writer! I started photographing from a young age and bought my first DSLR as a teenager. And though most of my interests are fleeting, photography stuck with me!
My imagery is colourful, happy, and personal; like me! I love working on location, with natural light and as little ‘stuffy’ posing as possible.
I am specialized in LGBT photography; everyone is welcome in front of my camera. As a queer woman, I know it can be uncomfortable if you don’t know if you can be yourself completely!
